Puerto Rico v Turkey (June 12)· Puerto Rico and Turkey will meet for the first time in the World League.
· Puerto Rico's only World League wins came against teams representing Europe. A five-set win against Slovakia and Spain.
· Turkey have played NORCECA sides five times in 2014, winning two and losing three. They beat Mexico in straight sets and Cuba in four. Two of their three defeats came in five sets.
Puerto Rico· Puerto Rico will participate in their third World League after 2011 and 2014. In 2011 they finished in 16th place and in 2014 in 27th place.
· In 2011, Puerto Rico failed to win any of their 12 World League matches. Last year they won two of their six matches in the competition.
· One of their two World League victories came away from home in Košice. Puerto Rico will play all of their 2015 group matches away from home.
Turkey· Turkey will partake in their second World League after making their debut last year. They finished in 22nd place in 2014, second place in Group 3 behind Cuba.
· Turkey won five of their eight matches so far at the World League. They have by far the best winning percentage of all teams participating in Group 3 (62.5%). Spain follows with 37.6%.
· The Final Four of Group 3 was held in Turkey last year. Turkey beat Slovakia in the semifinal (3-0), but were beaten in the final by Cuba in five sets. The second week of play in Pool F will be held in Turkey.
