Head-to-Head· Iran and United States will meet for the fourth and fifth time in the World League. All three previous matches were won by the United States.

· Seyed Mohammad Mousavi Eraghi has won 17 blocks, which ties Maxwell Holt (USA) and Simone Anzani (ITA) for most among group I players this season.
United States· United States can win 10 World League matches in a row for the first time since 2000 (11).
· Last year United States won their first seven matches. If they beat Iran twice, they win their first eight matches of a World League season for the first time since 2000.
· The next set United States will win will be their 500th in the World League. They can become the eighth country to win 500+ sets.
· Micah Christenson has won 15 serves, most of all players this World League season (all groups).
· Matthew Anderson is seven points shy of record his 100th point this World League season, becoming the third group I player to reach this total after Bartosz Kurek (126) and Thomas Edgar (111).
