Bratislava, Slovakia, July 4, 2015 - Smiles and sadness mixed together after the first semifinal in Aegon Arena between Montenegro and China.
China's coach Xie Guochen "We tried to do our best, but we didn't used all the opportunities we had today. I think we were nervous and not concentrated enough for this match. It´s a pity, but we had to accept the result. We have lot of young players and they play international tournaments for the first time in their careers. It a great experience for us. We will fight for the bronze."
China's captain Shuai Jiao: "They played much better even on the backrow. We made too many faults, we should have paid attention to the details bu we didn't."
Montenegro's player Marko Vukasinovic: "It is an amazing feeling. The athomsphere was great and we liked it. It was the most important game in our history and we played really good. I want to congratulate China, they played really good in service and defence, but we get our game, we played as a team and we had confidence from the very beginning. We are happy, this win means a lot for us. Nobody expected that we would have been in the final in our first World League."
Montenegro's coach Slobodan Boskan: "We started very well, especially in the first set. I am happy with the way that we played the second, we changed the game because we were down by 6 points. For us it was a new experience to play in a World League semifinal. Maybe the game was not nice for watching, because we saw a lot of mistakes, but we won and I am very pleased."
