Pool F: Head-to-head
Montenegro v Turkey (June 14)· These teams will meet for the first time in the World League as Montenegro are making their debut.
· Turkey have won their only previous World League meeting with European opposition, a straight sets win against Slovakia.
· Turkey's team (27 years, 303 days) is on average more than two years older than Montenegro's team (25 years, 102 days).
Montenegro· Montenegro is one of two teams making their debut in the World League alongside Kazakhstan.
· Montenegro will organise the first week of play for Pool F this year in Podgorica.
· Last year's debutants Belgium, Mexico, Slovakia, Tunisia and Turkey all won at least one match on home soil.
Turkey· Turkey will partake in their second World League after making their debut last year. They finished in 22nd place in 2014, second place in Group 3 behind Cuba.
· Turkey won five of their eight matches so far at the World League. They have by far the best winning percentage of all teams participating in Group 3 (62.5%). Spain follows with 37.6%.
· The Final Four of Group 3 was held in Turkey last year. Turkey beat Slovakia in the semifinal (3-0), but were beaten in the final by Cuba in five sets. The second week of play in Pool F will be held in Turkey.
