Thessaloniki, Greece, 21 June, 2015 – China managed to defeat Greece 3-2 (21-25, 25-21, 34-32, 18-25, 15-13) in a hard fought match in front of 5,000 passionate fans at the Alexandrio Melathro Sports Palace.
The stars filled up the stat sheet for China and Greece. Mitar Tzourits had 30 points for Greece, while Zhi Yuan had 27 points for China
China remains undefeated in Pool G. They secured a spot in the Group 3 Final Four.
Greece proved to be a very tough FIVB World League opponent. Five of their six matches went were decided in five sets. Their only two defeats came against China, and both matches went five sets.
