Luik, Belgium, 13 June, 2015 – A fierce attack by Belgium allowed them to defeat Portugal 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-23) in their FIVB World League match on Saturday.
Belgium was relentless on the attack, with three players scoring at least 10 points off of spikes. Seppe Baetens led Belgium with 16 points from spikes, followed by Sam Deroo with 12 and Gert Van Walle with 10.
Marco Ferreira led Portugal with 16 total points, while Joao Oliveira added 10 points.
Belgium now leads Pool E with 14 points, while Portugal sits in fourth place with one point.
