Argentina ready for World League Pool C encounter with Canada

Argentine coach Julio Velasco talks to his players

Halifax, Canada, June 4, 2015 - Argentina have travelled to Canada for their two FIVB Volleyball World League 2015 Pool C matches this weekend. Argentina split wins with Cuba last weekend, while Canada have won three of their four World League matches this season.

The team has trained in Buenos Aires ahead of its trip to Canada. "It is the only way to train with the players in a long international season like this one," said coach Julio Velasco. "We have taken some risks making plans and we have decided to keep with our project. We want to let players have some rest even though the players that participate in the national team normally do not have any gaps. We also want to train hard with them prior to competing at international level."

Argentina's matches will be broadcast live by TyC Sports.
