· Czech Republic are in danger of losing their positive win balance in the competition: 35 matches played, 18 won and 17 lost.
· Coming into the weekend Jakub Vesely has won 17 blocks in the tournament, fourth-most of all players behind Pieter Verhees (BEL, 22), Pieter Coolman (BEL, 20) and Kevin Le Roux (FRA, 18).
France· France have won their last six World League matches and their last five in straight sets (team record).
· The all-time record for most consecutive straight set wins is nine, set by Netherlands in 1990.
· France have a chance to win or lose their 500th set in the World League. Currently, they have won 496 and lost 495 sets (251 matches).
