Bulgaria out to stop high-flying French

· Bulgaria have won six of their 11 World League matches against France, including the last two, in 2013.
· That 3-2 and 3-0 win for Bulgaria in 2013 are the last matches they have faced each other in major tournaments.
· France's last WL win against Bulgaria came in 2006, 3-0.

Bulgaria
· Bulgaria have qualified for the Final Round (Group 1) in three of their last four World League appearances (2011, 2012, 2013). They failed to progress beyond the Intercontinental Round in 2014.
· Bulgaria have finished in the top-6 in 11 of their previous 17 participations, but are still without silverware in the competition.
· Bulgaria are on nine wins this campaign and need one more victory to better their total number of wins of their previous two World League seasons (2013, 2014) combined.
· Bulgaria have won five of their last six World League matches played in Varna.
· Viktor Yosifov has won 34 points from blocks this season, joint most of all players as of Friday 10 July. Seyed Mohammad Mousavi Eraghi also has 34 points.

France
· France are seeking their first World League silverware since 2006, when they lost 3-2 against Brazil in the gold medal match.
· Last year, France failed to reach the Final Six (Group 1) after losing to Australia in the Final Four final (Group 2).
· France are the only unbeaten team left in the 2015 World League (13 wins).
· France are unbeaten in their last 13 World League matches (all this season), their longest winning streak ever in the competition.
· France have conceded 499 sets and can become the sixth team to lose 500 sets in World League history.
· Antonin Rouzier is top scorer on 174 points.
· Kevin Le Roux has scored 30 points from blocks.
