Santilli: "We are working hard to improve our level"

 

The press conference ahead of the World League Pool A match between Italy and Australia gathered the coaches and captains from both teams

Jesolo, Italy, June 11, 2015 - The coaches and captains of the Italian and Australian teams attended a press conference ahead of the FIVB Volleyball World League Pool A matches between the two teams this weekend.

Australia captain Thomas Edgar said: “I played here in Italy some years ago, so I’m familiar with this ambience. We know that Italian teams always have great potential. We are working to improve our situation in the ranking.”

Italy captain Dragan Travica said: “We’ll try to do our best in front of our fans. Our group showed character in the previous matches.”

Australia coach Roberto Santilli said: “We are working on a young team that wants to get its tickets for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. So we are working hard to improve our level.”

Italy coach Mauro Berruto said: “We wants to provide our fans with a great show, but we are also trying to improve our position in the ranking of our pool.”
