Russia and USA meet in World League 'Match of the Week', live on YouTube

Lausanne, Switzerland, June 25, 2015 - Olympic champions Russia welcome reigning FIVB Volleyball World League champions USA to Kaliningrad this weekend. The two teams take to the court in the Match of the Week on Saturday at 16.10 GMT, which is the second of their two matches this weekend, and fans will be able to watch live on YouTube.

Coach John Speraw's men go into this week's matches on 17 points in Pool B, but lost their two matches against Iran in Tehran last weekend. They will be keen to bounce back away to Russia, who are yet to win a match in this season's competition.

The match will be streamed live with commentary provided by Peter Odgers, a lead commentator for a number of sports organisations, including the ATP Tour, the Women's Tennis Association and UEFA. He has covered a wide range of sports including the men's and women's gold medal matches in volleyball, table tennis and badminton at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon.

This year's first 'Match of the Week' programme saw current world champions Poland defeat Russia (WR 2) in five thrilling sets. Week 2 featured Brazil (WR 1) taking on last year’s Group 2 winners Australia. In week three, fans were treated to a match between 2014 World League winners USA (WR 5) and world champions Poland (WR 3). That was followed by an encounter between Italy and Brazil at the Foro Italico in Rome in week 4, and Iran-USA in Tehran. Russia-USA takes centre stage in week 5 and Australia-Serbia in week 6.
