Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, July 15, 2015 - Coaches and players discussed the aftermatch of France's great victory over Brazil in the FIVB Volleyball World League Finals Rio 2015 on Wednesday.

Bernardo Rezende, Brazil coach: "The match was very tough and both teams had a great performance. We had good opportunities in the game and we did not take advantage of them. We knew that it was not going to be easy and in the 3rd set we missed many serves. We have to learn from this experience and fix some things before our next match against the USA."

Murilo, Brazil player: "They played very well. In the first set, we took the lead and dominated, but they fought back, setting their rhythm on the serve, putting us in difficulty and the game became complicated for our team. We had difficulty turning the ball and they took advantage of that. Their serve came in strong. But this happens in a match. Tomorrow is our first final. If we do not win, we're out. I hope we can play three finals until Sunday. Tomorrow will be the first."

Laurent Tillie, France coach: “It was an unusual result, and it was difficult for us because Brazil put a lot of pressure with blocks and defence. We did not know how to play. My team found the spirit to stay cool, focus on the match and then we started to serve and dig better. It was easier after that and for us it was a great satisfaction, I think we played very well.”

Benjamim Toniutti, France captain: “It is never easy to start a competition here in Rio but we started very well. The first set was important because we did not play so well in the first part, but we came back at the end of the set and after that we realized that we could defeat Brazil. We started to play better and better and with a lot of confidence. This was the key of the game.”
