Brazil's Bruno: I am sure that we will meet again in Rio

Bruno Rezende, Captain of Brazil in the Mix Zone in Belgrade after the second match against Serbia

Belgrade, Serbia, June 14, 2015 - Brazil captain Bruno Rezende praised both the visitors and hosts Serbia for their performance this weekend and was confident of having another encounter in the FIVB Volleyball World League Final in Rio de Janeiro.

- Every time it is a great match between our teams. Great atmosphere here in Belgrade, I must say. We played well, especially in service. We put pressure, but so did Serbia. In the end, we are happy to win in and I am glad that we are in a very good shape right now – said Roberley Leonaldo, coach of Brazil.

- I must be happy. We fought until the very end. They risked a lot on serve and it paid off. We had great problems in reception, but it was because of their excellent serves. The result is fair, in Novi Sad we won, here we lost, but that’s the way life goes. Overall, I am satisfied with the way we are playing right now. I think that we will perform even better against Australia next weekend – said Nikola Grbic, coach of Serbia.

- We knew that these two matches would be very difficult. Today we served better, we made a lot of points that way, and we were more aggressive. We did a great job here. The crowd in Serbia is fantastic and it is always a pleasure being here, but also it is very difficult to take points. We did it now, but I am sure that we will meet again in Rio – said Bruno, team captain of Brazil.

- No matter what, this is a great success. We played against one of the best teams in the world. The volleyball is once again one of Serbia’s favorite sports and I am delighted with the fans here and in Novi Sad. We are improving our game each weekend and I am confident that we will find our place at the Final Tournament – said Aleksandar Atanasijevic, Serbia’s opposite.
