For the setters it is said that they are like wine - older the better. The new
head coach Nikola Grbić is certanly aware of that, so he decided to toughen up
the competition in this very demanding position. Ivan Kostić is the setter and team
captain of the championship leaders leaders VC “Partizan” from Belgrade.
Kostić was a member of the junior national team of Serbia, who won the fifth
place at the European Championship in Kazan, in 2006. It's been nine years, and
Kostić matured and became one of the best setters in the national championship.
He is calm, refined, but also has great leadership
skills, which is embodied in the role of team captain in VC “Partizan”.

former national team player Slobodan Kovač, and the other one his teammate in
the receiving position Goran Vujević. In 2013, Nemanja won bronze at the
European Championship with the senior men of Serbia.
