Portugal's skipper Jose Joao tries to tip at the net
Matosinhos, Portugal, May 16, 2015 – Netherlands beat Portugal 3-1 (23-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-20) in the opening match of the 2015 FIVB World League.
Portugal won the opening set with Huge Gaspar leading the scoring.
But the Netherlands pressed home their dominance in the next three sets, with their superior serving and attacking giving them the win.
Van Dijk caught the eye with an excellent ace and some great all round attacking play. Dick Kooy grounded several excellent kills, while Jasper Diefenbach blocked confidently.
